Hailing from central Ohio, considered by some as a microcosm for national sentiment, electropop singer/songwriter/producer, Nick Long, has started turning heads producing music under the moniker, Nearly a Nation.

Described as having “musical imagination” and being “incredibly poignant,” Nearly a Nation stands out as an act said to be worthy of being lifted to the global stage. Shaking off the stereotypes often associated with the genres surrounding electronic dance music, Nearly a Nation is forging a new path, one that hopes to raise both personal and national consciousness.

His debut self-released album, Outburst, in 2015, received special attention for the single ‘Radiate,’ named by The Akademia as Best Song–Dance/Electronica for January 2016. ‘Radiate’ was also included on Indie Anthems Vol. 10 and released at SXSW as part of a 20-song compilation of top unsigned, independent artists.

In 2016, NaN released his second album, Conquest, and signed a licensing agreement with L.A. based Wicked Licensing. More performance dates and a new album are planned for 2017.
